NB The surgery is only open on Saturday mornings for collection of prescriptions and a very limited amount of routine appointments provided for patients who work away during the week. Emergency GP cover is provided by the Out of Hours Service.

Out of hours emergency doctor

When the surgery is closed, emergency GP cover is provided by Bath Emergency Medical Services (BEMS) Telephone: 03000 339933. Please only use this service for urgent cases that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. For general health queries, please contact NHS Direct.

BEMS provides emergency GP cover at the following times:

Monday to Friday	6pm - 8am

Saturday & Sunday	24 hours

Riverside Health Centre, James St West, Bath provides a walk in service. This is primarily nurse led. Please try for an appointment at the Surgery before using Riverside Health Centre.
